Bradley University's 2026-27 catalog puts every online nurse practitioner specialty at 750 clinical hours across four practicum courses, and every DNP at a 1,000-hour minimum once the project courses are added. The leadership tracks use practicums with nurse leaders instead. The table gives the catalog's figures and flags where the online program pages still show older numbers.

What changes from one track to the next

The preceptor changes more than the hour count. FNP students need primary care across the lifespan, PMHNP students need mental health settings and a sub-specialty at the end, AGACNP students need acute care, and AGPCNP students need primary or outpatient care for adolescents through older adults. FNP students also plan around a two-day October bootcamp in Peoria, and the AG tracks now list one on-site skills bootcamp.

Are Bradley's graduate nursing programs all online?

Yes. The catalog describes online graduate nursing programs in five specialty areas, with clinical hours done locally under preceptors you choose. FNP students come to Peoria once for a two-day bootcamp, and the 2026-27 catalog adds one on-site skills bootcamp for the adult-gerontology tracks.

Why do Bradley's online pages show 600 hours for the AG tracks?

The 2026-27 catalog raised both adult-gerontology tracks to 750 hours, adding 50 in NUR 655 and a larger final course, while the online program pages still describe the older 600-hour plan. Plan for 750 and confirm with your academic advisor.

Does Bradley still offer an RN-to-BSN?

The 2026-27 catalog lists no standalone RN-to-BSN. Registered nurses without a BSN enter the online MSN tracks through bridge courses, including the 50-hour NUR 407 community practicum.
