Bradley University NP clinicals in Wyoming
Wyoming residents can take any of Bradley University's four online NP specialties: the state table marks FNP, PMHNP, AGACNP and AGPCNP as meeting Wyoming's licensure education requirements, and Wyoming NPs practice with full authority. The state board skips formal approval for graduate programs like Bradley's, yet it wants written notice and a signed facility contract before a Bradley student logs a single hour.

Wyoming's entry in Bradley's table
Look up Wyoming in the online licensure table Bradley links from bradley.edu and every NP column reads meets, with no footnote. Each specialty sits in a single column, apparently covering MSN, DNP and certificate levels alike, and the two leadership programs are missing. Notice, not approval: what the Wyoming board expects
Wyoming's rules for schools from elsewhere sit in Chapter 6 of the state nursing board's rulebook, and they start with a threshold test: the school is either registered with the state's Department of Education or covered by NC-SARA. Bradley qualifies through its NC-SARA membership. For MSN, DNP, APRN and other post-licensure study, board approval is not required; the board asks instead for a letter from the school each time a student is headed to Wyoming for clinical learning, and it posts a model letter programs can adapt.
A second item has to exist before you start: a signed agreement between the school and the clinical facility, with a copy kept for the board. At Bradley, agency agreements belong to the Office of Online and Distance Education (agency agreements), so that paperwork moves through that office once you name your site. Leave room for it, since a Wyoming site cannot start you until both signatures are in place.
Full practice across long distances
Wyoming appears in AANP's full practice column, so an NP there can own and run a clinic with no physician partner, and those clinics are fair game for your search as long as the preceptor clears Bradley's standard (preceptor requirements).
Distance is the real constraint. Cheyenne and Casper are Wyoming's only metropolitan areas, with Gillette the largest micropolitan one. Laramie's Ivinson Memorial Hospital, affiliated with UCHealth, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper (Banner Health is based in Arizona), Gillette's Campbell County Health and Sheridan Memorial Hospital are among the hospitals students call. Each writes its own student terms, none has published a Bradley process, and research found no Wyoming preceptor incentive.
Licenses and compacts for Wyoming clinicals
Wyoming nurses have carried compact licenses since January 19, 2018. A multistate RN card issued to a Wyoming resident meets Bradley's rule of an active, unencumbered license where the site sits (license rules), and every one of Wyoming's six neighbors, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah and Idaho, honors it. Honoring a card is different from approving a rotation, though: clinicals over the line still need your advisor's nod before the semester.
The APRN Compact is Wyoming law as well, codified in Title 33 of the state statutes, and Utah, Delaware and both Dakotas have enacted it too. Until a seventh state signs on, it stays on paper. For telehealth, FNP and AG students follow Bradley's Telemedicine policy guidelines in MyOnline, and PMHNP students ask course faculty how virtual visits count.

Questions Bradley students ask
Do I have to notify the Wyoming board myself?
No. The rule assigns that letter to the program, so Bradley sends it when one of its students is headed to a Wyoming site. Your job is to settle the site and preceptor early and pass Bradley the facility details, because the facility agreement must carry both signatures before hour one.
Can I do rotations in Colorado or Utah while living in Wyoming?
Both read meets for all four NP tracks in Bradley's table, and a Wyoming multistate license is honored in each. The rotation still needs your academic advisor or the department chair to approve it before the semester, and the other state's rules for out-of-state programs then apply; Utah, for one, asks programs to meet conditions first.
How far ahead should a Wyoming student start the search?
Earlier than you might think, because Wyoming adds a board notice and a facility contract to Bradley's own steps. Can I be paid for hours at a Wyoming clinic that employs me?
Not for practicum work. Bradley's Graduate Professional Behaviors Policy lists being paid for services done as part of a clinical practicum as a conflict of interest, so your clinical hours stay unpaid even at a site that employs you. Bradley publishes no other rule on training where you work.
