The board rule that covers distance programs
The rule is NAC 632.703. Read plainly, a school teaching part of its nursing program in Nevada must report to the Nevada State Board of Nursing on the board's own form, show it is accredited or approved, and keep filing annual reports. For programs taught online, clinical teaching in Nevada waits on a board yes, and instructors teaching in the state hold Nevada licenses.
Nothing in the text sets graduate study apart from pre-licensure training. The board's September 1, 2026 list of outside schools cleared for clinical-only operation in Nevada holds ADN and BSN programs and no NP program, which leaves the graduate question open.
Bradley has published nothing on how it handles NAC 632.703. Ask the Office of Online and Distance Education, which manages Bradley's agency agreements, once when you apply and again before the first packet.
Supervision and prescribing: two Nevada details for your search
A 2005 board practice decision lays down how precepted clinicals run. The school's faculty direct each clinical experience and remain a phone call away, the preceptor is physically present with you, one preceptor handles a maximum of two students simultaneously, and the school briefs each preceptor and hands over written objectives. Flag early any other learner your preceptor already teaches.
AANP lists Nevada under full practice, but newer NPs face a prescribing limit: with fewer than 2,000 practice hours, or less than two years, behind them, they write Schedule II prescriptions only under a physician-approved protocol. A first-year NP can still precept well, though you may see less controlled-substance prescribing. Who can precept you lists Bradley's own criteria.
Licensing: Nevada works like Illinois
Nevada shares Illinois's position outside the compact, with no compact legislation moving. A nurse who lives in Nevada holds a single-state license, since the multistate kind belongs to residents of member states, and a compact license earned in Utah, Idaho or Arizona does nothing for a Nevada clinic.
Another board decision ties the license to the patient: treating someone located in Nevada means holding Nevada's license, and nursing education involving direct patient contact falls under it. Apply for Nevada's RN license well ahead of your first hour there, telehealth with Nevada patients included; the license page states Bradley's version of the rule.
California and Oregon sit outside the compact too. Any cross-border rotation needs that state's license and your advisor's approval before the semester, and California reads does not meet for Bradley's PMHNP and AG tracks.

Nevada's people are concentrated in the south, where the metro around Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas counts roughly 2.4 million residents; Reno's metro holds about 580,000 and Carson City's fewer than 60,000.
Southern Nevada's hospital map includes UMC, the region's academic medical center; HCA's Sunrise Health System; a Universal Health Services subsidiary's Valley Health System; and Dignity Health campuses in both Las Vegas and Henderson. Renown Health rounds out the state's largest systems. Bradley publishes no partner list, so these are leads, each needing Bradley's approval and a clinical agency agreement.

Can I take Bradley's online FNP while living in Nevada?
Bradley's table says yes for FNP and the other three NP tracks. The open item is Nevada's board approval for distance programs' clinical teaching, which Bradley has not addressed publicly, so get an answer from admissions and the Office of Online and Distance Education before you commit.
Will my Utah multistate license cover Nevada clinical hours?
It will not. Nevada never joined the compact, so privileges from Utah or any member state stop at the border, and the Nevada board requires its own license for anyone caring for patients in Nevada. A Utah resident would usually train in Utah; any Nevada rotation first needs your advisor's approval.
My preceptor already hosts another school's student. Can they take me too?
Under a 2005 Nevada practice decision, one preceptor may take no more than two students at once and must be on site. Bradley publishes no ratio of its own. Mention the other student when you submit your packet, and check your track's clinical packet in MyOnline for anything Bradley adds.
What does a Nevada preceptor sign for Bradley?
