The table Bradley links from its State Disclosures page has one column per specialty rather than per degree, so MSN, BSN-to-DNP and certificate students in a specialty appear to share Florida's answer.

The two states on Florida's northern edge raise no new limits, since Georgia and Alabama read "meets" in every column too. The state disclosures page covers the footnoted states.
The Florida board, your license and the northern border
Read section 464.019 and you find a statute about prelicensure schools operating in Florida, and the Board of Nursing's description of its approval job stays inside that lane. Our research surfaced no Florida rule that makes an Illinois graduate program register with the Board, or give it notice, before a student trains here. Your gatekeepers are Bradley, which approves each preceptor and facility and handles the agency agreement, and the facility's own onboarding.
Florida belongs to the Nurse Licensure Compact (in force there since early 2018), and a Florida multistate license meets Bradley's license rule at any Florida site. Georgia and Alabama are members as well, which tempts students in the Panhandle or along the Georgia line to look north. Bradley's handbook still asks for any bordering-state rotation to be cleared with your academic advisor or the department chair before the semester opens. Florida has not enacted the APRN Compact.
Physician protocols and the TEACH program
AANP places Florida among the restricted practice states, and its Florida fact sheet describes a career-long physician protocol that select NPs must maintain, exemptions aside. The NP who precepts you may well work inside one. Bradley's own standard, set out on the preceptor requirements page, applies either way.
Then there is Florida's TEACH funding program, which AHCA administers under section 409.91256. Subject to appropriation, it pays qualified sites for clinical hours given to nursing students and primary care APRN students. Those sites are the safety net: federally qualified health centers, certified community behavioral health clinics, rural clinics, nonprofits in designated shortage areas, and community mental health centers. Eligibility stops at students of accredited programs based in Florida, working with Florida-licensed preceptors, so a site hosting a Bradley student draws nothing from it. When you approach one of these clinics, pitch the fit, not the funding.
Four metros and the systems inside them
Most Floridians live in one of four big metros. Per 2025 census estimates, roughly 6.4 million people live in greater Miami (a metro that also takes in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach), 3.4 million in the Tampa Bay area, close to 3 million around Orlando and about 1.8 million around Jacksonville. A Panhandle or rural student searches a thinner map.
AdventHealth, based in Florida but operating in other states too, is a common search target. So are BayCare, UF Health, Baptist Health South Florida and the HCA Florida Healthcare hospitals. Treat each as a starting point with its own student rules; none has a published arrangement with Bradley. RN-entry students placing NUR 407 can consider the Florida Department of Health, since Bradley's 2017 webinar listed health departments with school nursing and occupational health as fitting community settings.

Questions Bradley students ask
Will Florida's TEACH program reimburse a clinic for hosting me?
No. TEACH reimbursement is limited to students in accredited programs based in Florida, and Bradley is an Illinois university, so hours you complete produce no payment to the site. Its money follows students of Florida schools, so when you approach a clinic that takes part, lead with what you bring to the practice.
I live in the Panhandle. Could I train at a practice in Alabama?
Possibly. Alabama reads "meets" for all four tracks in Bradley's table and is a compact state, so a Florida multistate license would carry over. Bradley's handbook still has you raise a bordering-state rotation with your academic advisor or the department chair before the semester, and the site needs an agreement with Bradley.
Can a Florida physician be my Bradley preceptor?
Bradley's 2017 preceptor webinar accepted MDs and DOs alongside NPs, but wanted most of your hours supervised by NPs. Your track's clinical packet in MyOnline sets today's rules, and course faculty approve each preceptor in Typhon, so check with them before building a Florida plan around a physician.
Can I count telehealth psychiatry visits in Florida toward PMHNP hours?
Bradley's handbook points FNP and AG students to separate telemedicine guidelines for counting telehealth toward practicum hours, and those guidelines are not public. The handbook names no such guidance for PMHNP, so course faculty are the people to confirm whether a telehealth-heavy Florida practice fits NUR 685 and beyond.
