NUR 667: Management of Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics II
NUR 667 is the middle AGPCNP practicum at Bradley University: 200 primary care hours, open only once NUR 666 is behind you. Its real challenge is timing, because the preceptor packet for this course usually comes due while you are still logging hours in the one before it.

In the 2026-27 catalog, NUR 667 Management of Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics II carries 6 credits and 200 clinical hours in primary care. Before enrolling you need BIO 526, NUR 651 and NUR 600, plus the course that precedes it, NUR 666. All four AGPCNP routes include it: both MSN entry points, the doctoral track and the certificate.

The middle course is the one spot where Bradley's sources agree: 200 hours in the catalog and 200 on the program page at onlinedegrees.bradley.edu. The split over the track total, 750 in the catalog against 600 online, comes from NUR 655 and NUR 668, and the 750-hour change page follows it.
The overlap: the NUR 667 packet is due while NUR 666 runs
Bradley's welcome sites want every preceptor packet signed through DocuSign by the halfway point of the term before the practicum. When NUR 667 follows NUR 666 in the next semester, that deadline falls halfway through the term in which you are still earning NUR 666 hours. Waiting for one course to end before looking for the next preceptor leaves no room for it.
The fix is to keep your search one semester ahead of your hours at all times. By the first week of NUR 666, the NUR 667 preceptor should be a named person who has already seen what the packet asks for.
Have these ready before midterm of your NUR 666 semester
- The preceptor's name, credentials and an active, unencumbered license
- A current CV and proof of the preceptor's malpractice coverage
- The practice's street address and the course number,

Approval itself can be quick; Bradley's 2017 webinar described about five business days. The slow part is usually the site, since a practice owned by a health system may add its own contract or student application. Keep your NUR 666 preceptor, or move to a new one
Bradley's graduate hub pages encourage a fresh preceptor for each area of clinical focus, and the course title's three age groups give you a reason to vary the setting. If NUR 666 ran in an adult internal medicine office, a practice with more older adults, or one that also sees teenagers, widens what you can log.
Staying put has real advantages: the preceptor knows Bradley's forms, the site is familiar, and your schedule is settled. The limit to check is reuse. Bradley's 2017 FNP webinar let a student reuse one preceptor up to twice, resubmitting only the one-page initial form and any documents that had expired. The relationship rules stay the same either way. Under the Graduate Professional Behaviors Policy, no family member may serve as your preceptor, and clinical work can never be paid work.
Staying eligible: grades, Incompletes and repeats
Because NUR 666 is a formal prerequisite, the grade you earn there decides whether NUR 667 starts on time. Bradley's graduate progression policy sets B as the floor in every NUR course and caps each course at two repeats or re-enrollments over your time at Bradley, not counting a drop in a course's opening two weeks.
Hours that run short in NUR 666 can sometimes be finished under an Incomplete, but the department grants one only on strict conditions and with a firm end date; the semester calendar page lays out both. Any clinical work during a semester break on an Incomplete also needs the lead faculty member's sign-off.
Whether you may begin NUR 667 while an Incomplete is still open is a question for your academic advisor. Catching up on hours before the term closes is almost always the easier path, so raise a shortfall with course faculty early.
Looking ahead: NUR 668 and the skills bootcamp
NUR 667 is the last stop before the 300-hour NUR 668, and that final course cannot start until you have completed the Nurse Practitioner Skills Bootcamp, according to the 2026-27 catalog. Where and when the AG session happens is still unannounced. The October FNP Bootcamp in Peoria, two days long, accepts students from other NP tracks, but no Bradley page says it satisfies the AG requirement.
That makes the middle semester the time to ask your academic advisor which session counts for you and to plan the trip. It is also when the NUR 668 packet comes due if that course follows next, and a site able to host 300 hours takes longer to secure than one for 200. Is NUR 667 200 or 300 clinical hours?
It is 200. Bradley's catalog and its online AGPCNP page give this middle course the same figure. The 300-hour number belongs to NUR 668 in the catalog, while the online page still shows that course at 200 as well. If your syllabus or clinical packet says otherwise, follow it and ask course faculty which total they are tracking.
When is the NUR 667 preceptor packet due?
Around the midpoint of the semester that comes before the course, signed through DocuSign, under the rule on Bradley's current welcome sites. When NUR 667 follows NUR 666 directly, that lands in the middle of your NUR 666 term. MyOnline's academic calendar shows the exact date. Does NUR 667 have to be in a primary care setting?
The catalog places the AGPCNP management courses in primary care and describes the track's hours as primary care or outpatient. One line on the DNP-AGPCNP catalog page says acute care settings instead, which looks like a copy error. If a site sits between categories, such as a specialty clinic that also manages chronic disease, ask course faculty before the packet goes in.
Do I need new paperwork if I change sites for NUR 667?
Expect it. Bradley's 2017 webinars described an agency agreement for each student's site, arranged with the credentialing coordinator, and the Office of Online and Distance Education now names agency and affiliation agreements among its duties. A new site means a new packet at minimum, and a health system with its own contract can take weeks. See the agency agreement page.
What happens if I earn less than a B in NUR 666?
The sequence pauses. NUR 666 is a prerequisite for NUR 667, and Bradley requires at least a B in every NUR course, so the course has to be taken again. The progression policy limits each course to two repeats or re-enrollments. Work out a revised plan with your academic advisor, and move your preceptor dates to match.
